Advisement
Online students connect with an advisor each semester to select the program and courses that best fit your educational and career goals. They are available throughout the semester to answer your questions and help you navigate the online college environment.
-
Academic advising plays a key role in understanding the demands and expectations of Murray State College and higher education.
-
Academic advising is not a one-time event, but a continued relationship between you and your advisor.
-
Advisors recognize that all students are unique. Your advisor will work closely with you to make your educational experience fits your needs, goals, and plans.
-
Advisement is centered on the development of an academic plan. While your advisor will help you to define your plan, the primary responsibility for decision-making rests with you.
